We use your personal data for these specific purposes:

  • To respond to your quote requests, calls, messages and emails

  • To issue EICR certificates, installation certificates and Part P notifications where applicable

  • Local Building Control / NICEIC / NAPIT โ€” for Part P building regulation notifications, where required
  • Local Distribution Network Operators (DNO) โ€” for EV charger and high-load installations requiring DNO notification
  • OZEV / DVLA โ€” for EV charger grant applications
  • Payment processors โ€” to process card or transfer payments
  • HMRC and our accountant โ€” for tax and invoicing records
  • Hosting and email providers โ€” Netlify (website hosting), Google or other email providers
  • UK insurance providers โ€” only if a claim is made under our public liability insurance

All third parties are required to handle your data securely and only for the specified purpose.

6. How long we keep your data

We retain your data only for as long as necessary:

  • Quote enquiries: 12 months from last contact
  • Job records and certificates: 6 years (in line with HMRC and Part P retention guidance)
  • Invoices and tax records: 6 years (HMRC requirement)
  • EICR certificates: 5 years (validity period of the certificate)
  • Website analytics: aggregated and anonymised after 14 months
